I am a Primary Care Provider and board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly 15 years of experience working with patients from diverse backgrounds and I enjoy getting to know and treat entire generations of families. During my time in PA school, I was awarded the Director’s Award for my commitment to PA training and have been involved with precepting PA/NP students.
When the opportunity arises, I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues to contribute to our knowledge in the field. Before moving to NC, in 2015, I had been practicing family medicine.
I was born in Vietnam but come from a large family with a Chinese background (I am 7 of 8). I am fluent in Cantonese. I am especially proud and humbled to be in this field and truly strive to have a positive impact on my patient’s well-being by helping them navigate all aspects of their care.
Continuity of care and forming relationships with my patients is of the utmost importance to me.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy learning about other cultures and languages. Spending quality time with family, visiting parks and trails with my husband and dogs, cooking and trying a variety of cuisines, and watching a variety of sports. I am an animal lover and will be happy to share stories about my two high-energy dogs, Pepper & Sherwood.
